This privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this policy") is the policy for handling privacy information in our Company. Your use of the Company's services constitutes your agreement to this Policy.


What is Privacy Information?

Privacy information refers to both "personal information" and "historical and characteristic information. "Personal information" refers to "personal information" as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, which is information about an individual that can be used to identify the specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or other description contained in the information.

How do you collect Privacy Information?

We collect "personal information" when you register or use our services, and your "history and characteristics information" when you use our services or view our pages.


For what purposes do we use privacy information?

The purposes for which we collect and use privacy information are as follows.

  1. To display registration information such as name, address, and contact information, as well as information about the services used and products purchased, and their prices, in order to allow users to view and modify their registration information and view their usage status.

  2. To use contact information such as name and address in order to use email address to inform or contact the user, or to send products to the user or to contact the user when necessary.

  3. To use information such as name, date of birth, address, and telephone number, and results of delivery of certified mail in order to verify the identity of the user.

  4. To display the information registered with the Company on the input screen or to transfer the information to other services (including those provided by partners) based on the user's instructions in order to enable the user to input data easily.

  6. In order to respond to inquiries from users, to use information necessary for the Company to provide services to users, such as information related to the content of inquiries and billing, as well as information on users' service usage and contact information.

  7. To create statistical data processed into a format that does not identify individuals in relation to the Company's services.

  8. To use for marketing purposes.

  9. For purposes incidental to the above purposes of use.


How long do we retain privacy information?

We will retain your privacy information for as long as is necessary to carry out the purposes described above or as required by law. When the retention of privacy information is no longer necessary, we will promptly delete it.


Can privacy information be provided to a third party?

The Company will not provide privacy information to a third party without the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases. However, this excludes cases permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws and regulations.

  1. When required by law.

  2. When necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.

  3. When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.

  4. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or a person or organization entrusted by either of the foregoing in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual is likely to impede the execution of such affairs.

Can I check my privacy information or ask for it to be deleted?

When we receive a request from an individual to disclose his or her "personal information" (not including "history information and characteristic information"), we will disclose it to the person without delay. However, if disclosure is likely to harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the person or a third party, or if disclosure is likely to significantly impede the proper execution of the Company's business, or if disclosure would violate laws and regulations, the Company may not disclose all or part of the information. In the event that we decide not to disclose the information, we will notify you to that effect without delay.

A fee of 1,000 yen will be charged for each disclosure of personal information.

If the personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the User may request that the Company delete the personal information in accordance with the procedures specified by the Company. If the Company receives such a request from the User and determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Company will delete the personal information without delay and notify the User of this. In addition to this, the User may correct his/her own personal information held by the Company in accordance with the procedures specified by the Company.


Can I request that you stop using my privacy information?

If you request us to stop using or erase your privacy information (hereinafter referred to as "stop using") because your privacy information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or because your privacy information was obtained by illegal means, we will conduct the necessary investigation without delay, stop using your privacy information based on the results, and notify you to that effect.

However, in cases where it is difficult to suspend the use of privacy information due to the need to incur significant costs or other reasons, and where alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the individual can be taken, such alternative measures will be taken.


Changes to the Privacy Policy

The contents of this policy may be changed without notice to the user.

Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall become effective when it is posted on this website.

[ Special provisions for information providers in the EU ]

  1. Basis for Processing 

    We process the personal data of EU informants on the basis of the performance of a contract or the consent of the EU informant to this policy. In the case of consent-based processing, the EU informant may withdraw consent at any time.

  2. Transfer of personal data outside the EU 

    The Company will store the personal data of the EU/EEA data providers in Japan by the Company.
